TaMyya J:
Suddenly There is no wasting time with the opening track of this project as the beautiful TaMyya J unleashes her vocals "Out of The Box". If your the kind of individual that doesn't settle for less or the ordinary, then this track is for you. TaMyya, let's her audience on this project realize that, there is a reason why we're here and it's got nothing to do with the stuff but excepting the gift within us and unleashing it accordingly with results. Do you know who the "WayMaker" is? This track will keep your head up high in the midst of turmoil. Another quality performance for an Independent artist's making a huge contribution to the market.

Secret Place With such group's such as Winans Phase 2 playing the disappearing act on us, still! it takes much faith not to overlook another group that shows up on the scene. And, to add history to present, this group is also from the same Record label, Word Entertainment! The good side of it all is that, this project has been founded on stable and good grounds with Executive Producer Taffi Dollar showing her other side. The important note to take up about this release is that, although the group is still very young, it's not only focused on the younger generation. While other new upcoming young groups or artists get carried away with the hype, there is Spiritual maturity noticeable within this group.

Production: 6/10 Tamela Mann: Gotta Keep Movin' For those still reminiscing about the early years of Kirk Frankin and the Family (as the group were then known for), they need no more reminisce with tears in their eyes. This isTamela Mann's debut album that still has the vocal stronghold of which she was displaying when with the gospel group Family. Tamela open's her debut with Alright with that funk/contemporary feel to it, its far from being just another traditional track. With special guest Levi featuring on this track, she delivers warmth and drive stirring background vocals. The project does seem to dip into the low mid way through, as one gets caught up in the rhythm and praze. Although, this is no setback in regards to the content worth of the project. Out of ten tracks, only three will have you grooving meaning that, "Gotta Keep Movin' will have the worshippers out there with a smiling face.

Production: 7/10 Bobby Perry & R.A.I.N: All About You For those who remember the then Verity release project, Here II Praise back in 1998, this is either a prequel, follow up or even a trilogy! TheBobby Perry & Rain Project is a debut 2006 release from Bobby whom is the Founder and Pastor of Kingdom Builders' Worship Center, Inc. R.A.I.N. (Royal Agents Influencing Nations) on Axiom Records, is a collaboration of singers from B.P's church who came together to make All About You. B.P & R.A.I.N only just about delivery a fresh slice of flavor to the table as, a lot of artist's and releases in this genre seem cloned! Track's such as I Don't Know Why, Right There and I Am God (Untouchable Remix) seem to be the only track's that may just keep this release from being overlooked from other similar releases. I'm A Kingdom Builder Track 5, would of been the Hit hadn't not been that it's a 1:50min track!!!

Production: 5/10 Tasha Lareae
She has shared the stage with some of the finest acts in R&B and Gospel music including Vicki Winans, The Tony Rich project, Canton Jones, Jeff Sparks, Eric Roberson, Algebra and RJ Helton (American Idol) to name a few. On this self-titled 2006 debut EP, Tasha clearly is on the mission to get her music and vocals out there. And, although this is indeed a debut, much work is still needed and still in need for some further finishing touches. The production on Track 1 and 2 do the vocals no justice whatsoever while Track 6 should of been left as a demo. However, Tasha Larae is a name to keep in mind for the very near future.

Keshia McFarland:
Covergirl With a voice set to quicken and make alive even the dying soul and make know to all the testimonies in rich sound, Keshia McFarland is proclaiming the devil is a lier with Covergirl. There are gospel artists that sing, then there are gospel artists that preach with song which is clearly heard on the bangin' Track 3 When I Think which is no doubt the most powerful song on the project. Unlike other projects in this genre where the background vocals get a little bit noisy at times, Keshia's voice is clearly heard and not hidden or over shadowed by any kind of production effects. One of the most interesting and moving interludes you may ever come across can be heard on track 8 Dear Diary. It's a mystery to why the project title was used for such a project as this but, if the title and picture does happen to be on any front mainstream magazines, a huge amount of souls will surely be won. Other tracks to tune into include; Not -1-, Saved, Been So Good and the groovy song Moving (I can feel the Spirit)

Chris Fields:
Saved
Although, his vocals may be Saved, smooth and his lyrics inspirational, in the generation with live in today, Chris Fields has the message to renew the lives of the dying. However, it’s unfortunate, that only the first three tracks collaborate well with his vocals. The first two tracks, awake the listener that his chosen genre is not as boring as may be thought. But just before the album reaches mid-way, the production wears off and severely effect’s all vocals from there on. A debut can either create or disengage fans but let’s hope the finest tracks on the album will keep this release surviving!

Melody Of Love Grown folks might relate to this project more than the younger folks. It’s a traditional yet slow jams project and a debut from Johnathan Dawson whom by nature, seems to know how to place things in order. The content, as should all from this genre, is Word bonded but what highlights this project most is, the consistency of J.D’s vocals, clear, uplifting and lyrically artistic. The opening track, over flows with sweet melody as J.D ushers his audience into Victory. Lets hope Melody Of Love will not be the last we will hear from J.D.

In Awe Of You
While browsing and reading Tonex’s blog page on myspace.com, we came across this young and very talented artist going by the name of IZZY. Independent artist’s need no more be in search on the how-to-make-a-hit like the major artist’s. No similarities with IZZY cause that just bigs-ups the artist in comparison. This dude is in a class of his own because originality is his foundation along with his purpose to see people set free through his ministry. In Awe of You is his debut and is compiled of 16 tracks of all were produced by IZZY himself.

This Is My Letter
A particular HotPraise Entertainment 2005 release has got our ears ringing with smooth yet well balanced Rhythm and Praze. This is my Letter is a self explanatory release by Marcus Dawson who is using his gift to usher folks from mess to bless. You would almost be convinced that Marcus is an author of numerous best seller novels. His approach towards the music industry for an independent is quite interesting. As the album reaches towards mid point, it is however sad, that the production does his writing skills no justice. His vocals, however brings this to the rescue.
